ABOUT WIGGLE’S & WAG’S DOG WALKING
Our Story
Wiggle’s & Wag’s Dog Walking Corp is a proudly woman-owned and operated pet care business, founded in Alberta with a mission to provide honest, reliable, and personalized care for every animal.
From the beginning, our focus has been simple — every pet deserves to feel safe, understood, and fulfilled in their environment.
We specialize in working with dogs that may be considered “challenging,” including reactive, anxious, or high-energy dogs. Through structured walks and customized care plans, we help pets build confidence while ensuring they get the physical and mental stimulation they need.
Our services are built on an obedience-based foundation, allowing us to create balanced, structured experiences that benefit both pets and their owners.

Our Approach to Pet Care
At Wiggle’s & Wag’s, we believe there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to animal care.
We are committed to:
-
Prioritizing each animal’s individual needs
-
Advocating for their space, comfort, and boundaries
-
Providing structured, consistent care
-
Maintaining honest and open communication with clients
We only recommend and provide services that truly benefit your pet — ensuring transparency, trust, and long-term success.
Meet the Owner
Hey, I’m Alexis — the owner and founder of Wiggle’s & Wag’s Dog Walking.
With over nine years of hands-on experience in pet care, I started my journey at just 14 years old. Since then, I’ve remained committed to continuous learning, growth, and maintaining high standards in an ever-evolving industry.
Wiggle’s & Wag’s was created to provide something I personally struggled to find — a trustworthy, reliable, and transparent pet care service. I know firsthand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pets in someone else’s care.
Having lived in Alberta for most of my life, I’ve built this business with a strong connection to the community and a deep passion for animals.
At home, I share my life with my two dogs, Cujo and Zoey — who continue to inspire everything I do.
My dream is to one day own an acreage that features a daycare and training facility, where I can also help rescue animals.
As for my favorite snacks and sweet treats, I enjoy Lays salt and vinegar chips, cranberry juice (as I like to joke, I’m 90 years old, lol), and dark chocolate!
